One of the things I enjoy most is bringing order to that chaos. There's something incredibly rewarding about taking books that feel overwhelming and turning them into organized, reliable financial information. I enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and giving business owners like you confidence that your numbers are accurate.

That's what inspired me to start Dillon Bookkeeping Solutions. My goal is to bring that level of accounting expertise typically found in larger organizations to businesses like yours that need experienced accounting support - without the cost of hiring a full-time accounting professional.

When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my family. My husband and I have called Crystal Lake and the surrounding community our home since 1995, where we've raised our four children and continue to enjoy being active in our community. Between band performances, soccer games, baseball fields, and community activities, I understand just how valuable family time is.

That perspective shapes the way I work with my clients. I know your time is valuable, and I know the peace of mind that comes from having someone you trust looking after your books. Helping you feel confident in your financial information—and giving you one less thing to worry about—is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

If you're looking for an experienced accounting professional who can help you get the most out of your QuickBooks and provide financial information you can trust, I'd love the opportunity to work with you.

Meet Lori

Hi! I'm Lori Dillon, owner of Dillon Bookkeeping Solutions.

I believe business owners like you should spend your time serving customers, growing your business, and enjoying life—not worrying about whether your books are accurate or trying to become an expert at your QuickBooks.

For more than 30 years, I've built my career in corporate accounting, working my way up from Staff Accountant to Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller. Along the way, I gained experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, inventory accounting, payroll, sales tax, account reconciliations, and month-end close. Most importantly, I learned how accurate financial information helps business owners like you make confident decisions.

Throughout my career, I saw a common challenge. Business owners are experts in their industries, but accounting often takes a back seat to serving customers, managing employees, and keeping the business moving forward. Before long, bookkeeping falls behind, QuickBooks becomes frustrating, and financial reports become difficult to trust.
